We would like to invite you to join us for our weekly Lord's Day service on Sundays at 10:30 am. This is a wonderful time of fellowship together, preaching of God's word, musical worship, and prayer.
Preaching of God's Word
God has revealed Himself in His written word, the Bible. We are committed to the expository preaching of God's word, which means that the purpose and intent of the sermon flows out of the purpose and intent of the original writers who were moved by God (2 Peter 1:20-21). The greatest charge given to a pastor in the Scriptures is to "Preach the Word" (2 Timothy 4:1-2); not opinions, not dreams, not clever stories. When the Bible speaks, God speaks (Jeremiah 23:28-29).
Worship Through Music
The church should sing truths from the word of God, of which Jesus Christ is at the center and is the culmination. Also, the church should sing with a posture of thankful hearts to God and to one another, and our worship should be pleasing to our Lord. The songs that we sing are hymns. However, the songs that we sing are relevant and bring praise to the one true God through the adoration and praise of His mighty name (Ephesians 5:19).
Scripture Reading
Scripture reading is an essential part of our Lord's Day service. Every Sunday, we read a substantial portion of Scripture. We read Scripture during the service because we are told that all Scripture is God breathed (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Giving
Giving is an act of worship. We provide this time for our members and regular attendees to express their trust in God's worth and provision by giving financially.
